The happy ending or how police operates in Czech Republic
I’ve been thinking this blog deserved an ending, finally. I’ve been very busy lately so here it comes now, better late than never.
First, I’d like to finally say what I’ve really been thinking for the whole time, just didn’t want to pour even more oil into the fire.
Czech police guys, yes, you fuc*ers, who’ve been doing nothing for the whole time just making sure you’ll stick to the law, so no one can touch you, that’s exactly way to go. Every time I went to the police station after the media has published the case, they somehow managed to add one or two more investigators to be responsible for the case, just in case someone would screw up and it’d be on the news again. I won’t forget you your comments about me ruining investigation by publishing the stuff here, sure, I did. How would the case end without it – we’ll never know, my humble guess is it would be closed earlier, with even less results.
So, long story short, police returned the laptop, saying they found jack. No fingerprints, no DNA, no nothing. There was a hopeless try to get some evidence by giving the laptop to an independent technician, however no luck there.
Czech police is way too good in closure, oh god how I’d like to be as good as they’re. They’ve closed everything, quickly, quietly, and nicely.
The case of the robbed apartment – closed; result: Two unknown suspects broke in and so on and so on, postponed. Till forever I guess.
The case against me filled by “The Wanker’s family” – closed; result: nothing violating the law was found.
Oh, yes, I'd forget, that fancy lawyer who said he's gonna sue me, ask for an apology, public apology and hundreds of thousands CZK as a compensation actually never did anything.
So there I go, with my old Macbook after it’d traveled half of the Czech Republic, witnessed people doing various things, siting in the Police wardrobe for a while, now back home.
My camera is gone for good, when I asked the police guys if there’s gonna be a case against the guy who claims to be reselling goods bought online, they’ve said there’s already something happening, but in a separate case, in which, I’m not the victim, so I have no right to know anything about the case, basically a lawful way of saying “go to hell already”.
Oh yes and the police guys didn’t forget to mention they actually know who broke into the apartment but have no evidence about that – claiming it was a “local junkie”, well known, but no evidence is no evidence. It’s not even in the case, so I guess if someone dares to ask them about it they’ll say it’s something I made up for the blog, sure, I did.
After all, I’d like to thank all the people that supported/helped me in any way, especially my lawyer and his office, they did awesome job dealing with the police guys who were “investigating”.
... and to say goodbye, here's a summary of the case made by Czech Television (some time just before the case was closed, so it doesn't say anything about the actual ending).
